The adhesive should be selected according to the tile, the location, the substrate and the conditions in which the tiles will be installed. FASTX Adhesives offers a range of tile adhesive solutions designed for different applications. FA101 is suited for floors and small ceramic tiles. FA207 and FA255 are intended for internal walls and bathroom tile applications, including 4×2 and 5×2.5 tiles. FA230 is a special series for 4×2 tiles and window jamming. For exterior applications such as terraces and elevation tiles, FA307 and FA355 are suitable choices. FA407 and FA455 are designed for exterior surface stone slab pasting. The right selection helps the installer use a product that matches the intended application. Before installation, the substrate should be properly prepared, clean and suitable for tiling. FASTX tile adhesives are supplied in 20 kg bags. The stated mixing ratio is 4:1, adhesive to water. Depending on application and conditions, the specified bed thickness is 3–20 mm and coverage is approximately 30–35 sq. ft. at a 3 mm layer.
